Gospel singers, The James Brothers, will perform at noon and 1:00.

View copies of the 13th Amendment and The Emancipation Proclamation. Children can compare and contrast and practice writing with a quill.

Historic Gardener, Tim Foster, will be on-site teaching about Colonial Gardening and the influence of African foods on American cuisine.

You may even be able to taste a dish that originated in the kitchens of enslaved people and is still found on modern Southern tables.

Weekend admission to Walnut Grove is $10 per person and includes hourly guided tours of the Manor House, Kitchen Building and Rocky Springs Academy. Plus all-day access to additional historic buildings, herb garden, family cemetery, nature trail & picnic pavilion (there are no discounts offered on Living History Saturdays).
