Carl Sandburg provided a popular voice for the American people of the twentieth century and still speaks to us through his words, songs and the beauty and serenity of Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site.

His last home, Connemara, sits on 264 acres in Flat Rock, NC, with five miles of hiking trails and a farm which cares for the descendents of Mrs. Sandburg's prize-winning dairy goat herd.

Open daily 9-5, year-round. Tours offered daily. Groups welcome.
