Flat Shoals is a small, shallow cascade that flows under the bridge that is over Flat Shoals Road. This is a popular area for tubing and fishing and such.

DIRECTIONS:

1.  From Walhalla drive NORTH on SC 183 for 3.5 miles then turn RIGHT (north) onto SC 11.

2.  Drive approximately 6.9 miles and turn RIGHT onto Flat Shoals Road.

3.  Continue 2.5 miles to the bridge over Flat Shoals River. Park before the bridge alongside the road..

4.  There is no tairl to the shoals, however, you can walk around the metal gate to the shoals.
