Chauga Narrows
The fast flowing Chauga River is squeezed into a chute which drops 25 feet over a 200-foot run creating a Class VI rapid. Fisherman and hikers will enjoy the easy 20-minute walk to the Narrows. The fishermen will be delighted with the supply of stocked brown and rainbow trout and the many remote pools. Hikers will enjoy the view, the wildflowers and the abundant wildlife including white-tailed deer and turkey.
