Wildcat Falls has three levels: the lower level- 30 feet in height; the middle level- 10 feet; and the upper level- 100 feet. The most spectacular of the three sections, the upper level, flows over a 100-foot rock ledge with massive boulders at its base. It is located 0.3 miles upstream from the middle section.
The trail to the upper falls is easy until it reaches the boulders, but climbing over them is quite difficult- and is illegal since many accidents, deaths, and difficult rescues forced the South Carolina State Park Service to make the upper falls off limits. Fortunately, an excellent view of the upper falls is possible without crossing the boulders.

Driving Directions:
1. From the Post Office in Cleveland, drive 4.5 miles on US 276 West/ SC 11 South
2. Park in the large paved road-side area on the right, 0.6 miles before US 276 makes a right turn toward Caesars Head State Park.
Hiking Directions:
1. The trail to the upper falls begins at the wooden stairs to the left of the lower falls.
2. Follow the well-maintained trail 0.4 miles to the base of the upper falls.
3. Be aware that the trail to Upper Wildcat Falls is closed to the public.
