Chattooga River Fly Shop is located in the heart of the South Carolina mountains, at 6832-A Highlands Hwy. (Hwy. 28N) in the town of Mountain Rest. Just 8 & 7 miles from the delayed harvest sections of the Chattooga & Chauga rivers. We are 9.7 miles from Burrell’s Ford Road & 13.9 miles from the Walhalla Fish Hatchery which is located on the East Fork of the Chattooga River. We offer both full and half day guided fly fishing wade trips. We carry a wide variety of flies, from the smallest of the midges to the largest stone flies, necessary for the right conditions on the river. From barbless jigs, Czech nymphs, and streamers to the traditional dry flies. We also have a variety of flies for fishing the red-eye bass and pan fish on local lakes and on the lower sections of the rivers. We carry a full array of fly lines, leaders and tippets, fly rods and reels, waders & boots for men, women & children. Nets, vests, packs & all your fly tying supplies are here waiting for you.
