WHETSTONE PLACE was built in 1835. After passing through the hands of several owners, in the early 20th century it became home to many tenants through the 1970s. The historic home was restored in the 80s. Unique features of the 181 year-old home include four fireplaces with original mantles and brick, downstairs windows with original sashes and hand-blown glass panes, and original heart pine flooring and paneling throughout.
