This plantation, a registered National Historic Landmark, is on land granted by King George III to Charles Moore when this section of South Carolina was the western frontier. The documented collection of antique furnishings and accessories portrays living conditions in Spartanburg County prior to 1830.

Open Tuesday-Saturdays 11am-5pm, Sundays 2-5pm, March 1-Oct 31; and by appointment. Admission charged. Groups contact [email protected]

Plan to have your next meeting at a 1765 historic site.  A covered pavilion and beautiful grounds offer a unique facility for meeting receptions or weddings. Kitchen facilities and fireplace are available.
