Burnt Tanyard Shoals, located on Little River, drops only 10 feet over. On almost any summer day you can find swimmers and tubers spending their day at the shoals.
DIRECTIONS:
1. From Walhalla, drive NORTH on SC 183 for 3.5 miles and turn RIGHT onto SC 11 North.
2. Drive approximately 8.6 miles and turn RIGHT onto SC 130.
3. Follow SC 130 for 3.3 miles and turn RIGHT onto Burnt Tanyard Road.
4. After 2.1 miles you should reach the bridge over Little River. Here you can park along the roadside and walk along the shoals.
