Today, only the above "original building" stands on the original Main Street site in "the town that disappeared" - the Old Pickens Presbyterian Church and its cemeteries.

Veterans of both the Revolutionary War and the Civil War are buried in the church's cemetery. Gates open daily, year-round 8:30am - 6pm.

Directions: From Pickens: travel west on SC 183 to the Keowee(Seneca) River. Proceed 0.2 mile to the Old Pickens Presbyterian Church gravel entrance road on the right. Turn right(North) and travel 0.1 mile, then turn right (east) to the church.
