Best August Restaurant Week SC Bites for under $50

For the last 15 years, Restaurant Week SC has been dishing out two-course to five-course meals, from Clemson to restaurants in Spartanburg twice a year (in January and August). This includes lunches, dinners, and dessert/drink pairings for classic favorites and new foodie discoveries! Check out the list below, broken down by area, from some of the over 35 restaurants we’ve highlighted that are participating this month.

Downtown Greenville:

  • Roost Restaurant – Offering: 3 Courses for $35/person. Location: 220 N. Main St., Greenville, SC, 29601. Dinner Hours: Mon. – Thurs. (4 – 9 pm), Fri. – Sat. (4 – 10 pm), and Sun. (3 – 9 pm). Details: Don’t miss four options for starters, five entrees (including a wagyu flat iron steak), and dessert, with optional wine pairings at $20/person for all three courses.   • Oak & Honey – Offering: 3 Courses for $40/person. Location: 200 E Washington St, Greenville, SC, 29601. Dinner Hours: Tues. – Sat. (4 – 10 pm). The kitchen closes at 10 pm. Details: Choose between two appetizers and two large plates, then polish off the meal with South Carolina Peach & Cornbread pudding for dessert! No Reservations are required, and walk-ups are welcome. 
  • DeMarco’s Italian – Offering: 3 Courses for $50/person. Location: 366 Field Street, Suite A, Greenville, SC, 29601. Dinner Hours: Sun. – Thurs. (4 – 9 pm), and Fri. – Sat. (4 – 10 pm). Details: Choose between four starters, four entrees (with two additional entrees as a $10 upcharge), and three desserts at this newer restaurant near Fluor Field. Make reservations through Resy or their website linked above.

Greenville County:

  • Universal Joint – Offering: 3 Courses for $30/person. Location: 300 E Stone Ave, Greenville, SC, 29609. Dinner Hours: Sun. – Sat. (4 pm –  12 am). Details: Pick one of four appetizers, an entree, a side, and a cookie for dessert at this casual dinner date spot! No reservations required.
  • Fork and Plough – Offering: 3 Courses for $48/person. Location: 1629 E North St., Greenville, SC, 29607. Dinner Hours: Mon. – Sat. (4 – 9 pm). Details: Choose between six different starters and five mains, with four dessert options and three à la carte options to add to your meal! This is a great option for folks with allergies as well, with multiple gluten-free and dairy-free options. Reservations required, book here!
  • HeyDay Sandwiches & Cocktails – Offering: 3 Courses for $28/person. Location: 2510 Poinsett Hwy, Greenville, SC, 29609. Dinner Hours: Mon. – Weds. (4 – 9 pm), Thurs. – Sat, (4 – 10 pm), and Sun. (4 – 8 pm). Details: This casual Greenville favorite is returning, with their appetizer, sandwich, and cocktail combo! Choose between five of their popular appetizers, ten sandwiches/burgers, and eight cocktail options (that can also be made into mocktails). No reservations for both indoor and outdoor seating! 
  • Craft 670 at Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort – Offering: 3 Courses for $40/person. Location: 670 Verde Blvd, Greenville, SC, 29607. Dinner Hours: Mon. – Sat. (5 – 10 pm), and Sun. (5 – 8 pm). Details: This menu comes with your choice of one non-alcoholic beverage, one glass of wine, or one craft beer, along with two choices for a first course, three main course options (plus a 12-ounce grilled ribeye for $10 more), and the Chef’s Choice dessert. No reservations required!

Downtown Spartanburg:

  • Sparks Fire Inspired Grille @ The Spartanburg Marriott – Offering: 3 Courses for $45/person. Location: 299 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC, 29306. Dinner Hours: Mon. – Sun. (4 – 10 pm). Details: This great Spartanburg option includes three appetizer choices, main-course options, and sweet treats, with featured Restaurant Week wines by the glass or by the bottle. Make your reservation here before it books up!
