Sunflower Festival

With more than 6 acres and 75,000+ sunflowers in their 140 acre field, Denver Downs Farm in Anderson, South Carolina is proud to host the state’s largest Sunflower Festival the weekends of June 13-22, 2025. New this year are weekday evening hours in the sunflower field.

“Sunflowers just make people happy and we love to share that happiness with guests from all over the region who come to celebrate the beautiful flower over the summer,” said Catherine Garrison Davis, co-owner of Denver Downs Farm. “People love to come to the farm to not only see and take home our sunflowers but bask in their beauty, enjoy live music and adult beverages, and make family memories during the festival. We can’t wait to see all the smiles and share our love of sunflowers during the festival!”

The SC Sunflower Festival kicks off its 7th season with picking, photography, craft vendors, live music, sweet treats, frozen beverages, food options, and children’s activities on Friday, June 13th. The festival activities run Fridays-Sundays while the sunflower fields are open daily. Hours for the festival, which runs June 13 until June 22, are:

• Friday 4pm-9pm (barnyard activities 4pm-9pm)

• Saturdays 10am-8pm (barnyard activities 10am-4pm)

• Sundays 10am-8pm (barnyard activities 10am-4pm)

Sunflower Field Open for Photos and picking only:

• Monday – Thursday 6pm-9pm

Admission, which can be purchased online starting June 2, includes access to the sunflower field, vendors, and children’s activities. A large bucket of u-pick sunflowers is $28.95. Photographers are welcome as well and may take photos during weekend hours or weekday sunset hours.  Admission for the weekday evening field hours is discounted.
