Plan your Spring Trip to the Upcountry – Part 1

The Spring Equinox kicks off the season’s official start, and what better time than now to plan your Spring trip to the Upcountry! From music events to dining delights and outdoor activities, there’s plenty to look forward to this year.

March:

  • Bubbly Side Up – A Brunch Festival – Location: Events at Judson Mill 701 Easley Bridge Rd, Suite 4010. Date(s) & Times: March 1st (11:30 am – 2 pm). Indulge in unlimited sweet and savory brunch bites, sip on bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys, and enjoy live music on one unforgettable day. All tickets include unlimited brunch dishes, plus as many mimosas and Bloody Marys as you can responsibly enjoy.

  • Downtown Alive—Location: NOMA Square, 220 North Main Street, Greenville, SC. Date(s) & Times: Thursdays from March 13th to August 28th (5:30 – 8:30 p.m.). Downtown Alive kicks off the weekend with music and free admission! More than 45,000 people attend this event annually. Bands play two sets at 5:50 and 7:20 p.m.

  • Main Street Fridays—Location: NOMA Square, 220 North Main Street, Greenville, SC. Date(s) & Times: Fridays from March 14th to September 26th (5:30 – 9:30 p.m.). This weekly music series on Main Street features bands playing two sets at 5:50 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. NOMA Square chairs go fast, so bring a tailgating chair if you are not arriving early!
  • 107th Greenville St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival – Location: 220 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601. Date(s) & Times: March 15th (Parade – 10 – 11 am) and Festival (11 am – 8 pm).  Come for the annual Parade and Festival to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Greenville! Enjoy the parade along Main Street, starting at Augusta Street and running north to Coffee Street. The day-long festival includes live music, vendor booths, food, and beer on Main Street from Coffee Street to Beattie Street, with a stage at NOMA Square.

  • Market at Drayton – Spring Event – Location: 1800 Drayton Rd, Spartanburg, SC, 29307. Date(s) & Times: March 22nd (12 – 5 pm). Shop over 100 vendors while trying local baked goods, bites to eat by Dray Bar & Grill, Mocktails, & Cocktails.
  • 10th Anniversary—Reedy Reels Film Festival—Location: South Carolina Children’s Theatre, 153 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC, 29601. Date(s) & Times: March 28th—30th (times vary). The 2025 Reedy Reels Greenville Film Festival is a three-day film screening event. Dozens of films from independent filmmakers will be screened over multiple sessions. The content shown is not available online or at regular movie theaters. 
  • Greer Alive – Location: 301 E Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29651-3708. Date(s) & Times: March 28th (5 – 8 pm). Greer Alive is where you need to be if you’re looking for good vibes, great food, and live music that hits just right!
