Whether you’re into rock, blues, bluegrass, or jazz, we know you’ll find something in our Spring or Summer Music Series! Check out this list we’ve compiled from April through July of upcoming free (or lower-cost) concerts that are fun for the whole family!
April Events:
- City of Spartanburg – Music on Main – Location: Morgan Square, 100 W Main Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29306. Date(s): 4/11, 4/18, 4/25. Gather every Thursday, April to July, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm to listen to some of the hottest and hippest bands (free admission)!
- Downtown Alive Benefiting Metropolitan Arts Council (MAC) – Location: Noma Square, 220 N Main St, Greenville, SC, 29601. Date(s): 4/11, 4/18, & 4/25. Each week features some of Greenville’s favorite food trucks and free admission for live music (5:30 – 8:30 pm)!
- Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays (Presented by Pepsi) – Location: Noma Square, 220 N Main St, Greenville, SC, 29601. Date(s): 4/12, 4/19, & 4/26. This free weekly music series runs from 5:30 – 9:30 pm, with bands playing two sets at 5:50 and 7:40 pm.
- Jazz on the Alley – Location: Ram Cat Alley, Seneca, SC, 29678. Date(s): 4/11, 4/18, and 4/25. Bring a chair and your listening ears for this free concert series featuring America’s touring musicians every Thursday, April through October, from 7-9 pm. Check the website included for more info on future dates and upcoming artists!
- 18th Annual Mac Arnold Cornbread & Collard Greens Blues Festival – Location: 128 Depot St, Fountain Inn, SC, 29644. Date(s): April 13th, 12 – 6 pm. Catch a legendary free concert from Mac Arnold and the Plate Full of Blues and other national blues artists.
- Old Time Jam & Camping Weekend – Location: Hagood Mill Historic Site, 138 Hagood Mill Rd. Pickens, SC, 29671. Date(s): April 19th – 20th, 10 am – 4 pm. Bring your tents and join fellow jammers for old-time musical sessions and concerts (tickets are ~$5-10).
- Mauldin Jazz & Blues Festival – Location: Mauldin Cultural Center, 101 E Butler Rd, Mauldin, SC, 29662. Date(s): April 20th, 2 – 9 pm. Sink your teeth into fanciful food, swig a cold beer, sip some wine, and groove to some live blues & jazz bands. Free admission!
- Spartanburg Spring Fling – Location: Downtown Spartanburg, SC. Date(s): April 26th- April 28th. Car shows, live music, food courts, artisan markets, family fun, & more! Free admission.

- 2024 Spring Albino Skunk Music Festival – Location: 4067 Jordan Rd, Greer, SC, 29651. Date(s): May 9th – 11th. Three-day Americana music festival with camping, food, beverage & craft vendors, and kids’ activities. Tickets range from ~$20- $360 and can be purchased at the link included.
June Events:
- Greenville ZooFest – Location: 150 Cleveland Park Dr, Greenville, SC, 29601. Date(s): June 1st, 5 -9 pm. Zoo Fest is a family-friendly music festival featuring multiple music artists with fun activities. Purchase your tickets (~$20-30) at the link provided.
- City of Spartanburg – Music on Main – See location and timing details above. Date(s): 6/13, 6/20, 6/27.
- Downtown Alive Benefiting MAC – See location and timing details above. Date(s): 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, and 6/27.
- Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays – See location and timing details above. Date(s): 6/7, 6/14, 6/21, and 6/28.
- Southern Appalachian Music Fest (SAMF) – Grits & Shine – Location: Hagood Mill Historic Site, 138 Hagood Mill Rd., Pickens, SC, 29671. Dates(s): June 21st – June 22nd. Come out and enjoy music, camping, food, shine-tasting, fun, & more. Buy tickets at the link included (range from ~$12-100).
- Balloon Glow & Laser Show – Location: Historic Hopkins Farm, 3717 Fork Shoals Rd, Simpsonville, SC, 29680. Date(s): June 21st – 22nd. See (or ride on) incredible Hot Air Balloons, and enjoy the Kids Zone, games, rides, and live music from various artists. Purchase your tickets at the link included (range from ~$10-75).
July Events:
